"Loose - Tight Properties"

No one likes to have more fun than I do but I’m not having fun when my staff doesn’t know their role. For my Kitchen staff there are three things they need to know… #1 “Either Lead, Follow or get out of the way”, #2 Know your stuff ( meaning you need training and that’s what we give so you know your stuff. No one knows everything… even me. ) and #3 “Safety First” is as important as the others. Once a staff member is comfortable with these three we have a comfortable, focused culture that I describe as “Loose-Tight Properties” it takes longer than you think and there is no finish line.
