Welcome to My New Website!

Moving In!

It’s spring in Washington DC, the cherry blossoms are blooming, the weather is finally making up it’s mind to be warm, and some spring cleaning was in order. As I just bought a new home, I figured it was time to update my space on the internet as well. My old website was just that, old. It was a bitter-sweet move because it had everything; recipies, tear-outs, pictures, letters, commendations— my website really was where I kept the mementos of my life’s work. In the end, it was time to move on, and look forward.

Just like you hire experts to help you move houses, I brought in Chris, a local photographer and media consultant, to help me with my digital migration. We went through everything on the old site; what was worth keeping, what could be archived, and what we could let go of.

Chris helped me move in!

It was especially helpful to have his perspective on how an updated website could help me in ways I hadn’t considered. He asked me about my passion and goals for this new website, and we came up with this: https://www.chefkeller.kitchen/

My old website was just a place where I archived my work. Now it is a place where I can showcase my work, and do what I love most— share my knowledge and experience with others. I look forward to you joining me here as we live, learn, and explore in Chef Keller’s Kitchen!
