"Going Out on Top"

I was pleasantly surprised to see footage, released recently, of the 73-74’ Calder Cup Celebration while the Hershey bears carried my father off the ice carrying the cup. And now you can too ! You can see me running behind him.

This symbolizes so many things for me and wraps things up for our family. It was a rough year losing my dad and only last week did I say “ I’m finally whole again”. Yes I wrote that on my new fridge.

I was at the UPS store having a piece of Memorabilia packed up for my new Facebook Buddy and former Hershey Bears Star Terry Ewasiuk. As I was holding the champagne bottle that my Dad had signed, by the whole Team, people kept coming up to me until there was a small crowd. I told them all about the recent footage that was released and how I was mailing this to Alberta. It was was a moment that I’ll remember for quite sometime.

It is a small world when it comes to my Hockey Family !!
