Another Great Team Effort
Jack Todd is a Classy Guy that has traveled the World and has enjoyed the finest of the Culinary and Service Industry. Here’s a nice note from his 60th Wedding Anniversary Dinner we wrote together. The Second course Souffles, all 22 of them, came out perfectly.
The dinner was a huge success thanks to our BHCC team! I want to personally thank you for their participation which made the event so successful.
First, Teresa Nacario, our catering manager, who was responsible for making sure all of "the parts" of the event came together---which she did with outstanding results.
Secondly, the Service Staff made the dinner occur, seamlessly, in a relaxed and informal manner. Mariela Diaz, managing the service staff was extraordinary and made the event, the success that it was. Lead server, Henry Guzman made everyone at the dinner feel like they were the guest of honor. Henry, Is one of my favorite people on the service team. Xavier Robinson was tireless and excellent in his role on the team supporting Henry.
Finally, the individual that made the whole event the success that it was, Executive Chef Duane Keller.
Few Chefs in this world could have prepared a meal of this complexity, for a group of this size with such extraordinary results.! I have dined at some of the best restaurants in this world and never observed a cheese soufflé, magnificently prepared, simultaneously, for a party of this size. Chef Keller's personal touch on the menu, presentation and result made us all feel so welcome. Having been a BHCC member for 34 years, we have had some excellent chefs, but Chef Keller sets a culinary standard that is unique in its excellence and "primus inter pares". (first among equals)
